Several focused teams worked in a coordinated and collaborative manner to develop the assurance argument, collect evidence, and prepare for the student survey, the federal compliance filing and visit for the comprehensive review. These teams include:
Steering Committee
The Governance Council along with the accreditation liaison and assessment coordinator served as the Steering Committee and provided leadership, direction, and guidance to all aspects of the comprehensive review preparation. Members included:

Criteria Teams were charged with addressing each of the four accreditation criteria in the assurance argument. The groups include colleagues across the institution who served as subject matter experts for specific areas and core components
- Mission and Purpose Team led by Becky Takeda-Tinker
- Ethical and Responsible Conduct led by Jim Smith
- Teaching and Learning led by Audra Spicer
- Sustainability and Planning led by Patti Arroyo
Federal Compliance Team led by Lydia Kloiber will prepare a filing demonstrating adherence to Title IV program eligibility requirements.
Student Survey Team led by Jerid Couterman will coordinate and deploy the HLC’s online student survey.
Visit Preparation Team led by Lydia Kloiber and Audra Spicer will prepare for and host the on-site peer review team’s visit, including meetings and open forums.
Together the teams represent the breadth of our institution’s constituent groups, shared governance, and mission-related activities.
