Frequently Asked Questions

Accreditation

Accreditation ensures that educational institutions meet certain quality standards, giving students and the public confidence in the value of its programs and courses, and its recognition by employers and other institutions. This recognition can lead to increased career opportunities for graduates.

The accreditation process is when an institution of higher learning is reviewed by an independent, external group of peer reviewers who confirm that the college or university in question keeps the promises it makes to students with integrity, transparency, and clarity.

CSU Global is following the standard pathway for its comprehensive accreditation. It is a 10-year process that starts with the last date of accreditation. CSU Global is in year 9 of 10 and is preparing for the comprehensive evaluation including the assurance arguments, student opinion survey, federal compliance filing and on-site peer review visit.

Several of CSU Global’s academic degrees are also programmatically accredited by organizations from the distinct industry areas and Reviews of those programs are conducted separately.

The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) accredited programs include:

  • B.S. Accounting
  • B.S. Business Management
  • B.S. Human Resource Management
  • B.S. Management Information Systems and Business Analysis
